Volunteers who want to work at Ribfest 2008 can sign up through www.communitylinks.ca

Several volunteer positions will require a police check.  This requirement is indicated on the site where volunteers can sign up. Any volunteers serving at the beer tent are expected to be Smart Served.

Voted Guelph’s best outdoor event, Ribfest is supported by an army of community volunteers -- more than 450 volunteer positions to be exact are filled across Guelph’s Riverside Park Aug. 22, 23 and 24.

Many volunteers are members of the Rotary Club of Guelph-Trillium, the club responsible for the organization of the event. Rotarians in the three other Guelph clubs are called upon to assist, and many Rotarian family members are pressed into service to make the weekend a success.

Volunteers work in all areas - set-up, serving in the Bavarian Garden or at the Classic Car Show and clean-up.
